Nestled in the foothills of the Shawnee National Forest and the scenic Ohio river, the historic Dickey's Lodge, originally built in 1936 and furnished with period primitives, can accommodate up to fifteen guests.
Toasty warm in the winter and air-conditioned in the summer. Great for fisherman, hunters, families, romantic getaways,
celebrations and club meetings. Privacy, yet just 3.4 miles from restaurants, gift and antique shops, and a full service marina.
Dickey's Lodge has a large great room with stone fireplace with lots of wood to burn. Some modern conveniences in the great room inludes a television and VCR. To add to your entertainment, there is an assortment of family friendly videotapes.
Off the great room, and through a set of double french doors is a private bedroom. This bedroom has a double bed, rollaway bed and Jenny Lind type small bed.
Full kitchen has microwave, fridge/freezer, stove, variety of pots and pans,
skillets, silverware, plates and cups and complimentary coffee. Charcoal grill on back porch, with charcoal and lighter fluid provided.
Downstairs bathroom with tub and shower, plenty of wash cloths and towels.
Upstairs you will find two intimate bedrooms and a large loft area that sleeps 10. All bedding, blankets and pillows are provided.
